Michael Gulett - President & Chief Executive Officer

Michael Gulett

Michael Gulett joins Ikanos with over 30 years of semiconductor and communications industry experience. For the past 14 years, Gulett has been the president, CEO or COO of a number of publicly traded and privately held companies including Tzero Technologies, ARC International, Siliquent Technologies (acquired by Broadcom in 2005), Virata Corporation, Paradigm Technology and others. He has also held a range of engineering, operations and business management positions at VLSI Technology, California Devices, NCR Microelectronics and Intel Corporation. Gulett has served on the Ikanos Board of Directors since August 2003. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton.

Cory J. Sindelar - Chief Financial Officer

Cory J. Sindelar

Cory J. Sindelar joined Ikanos in September 2006 as vice president of finance. Mr. Sindelar has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience while working with various high technology companies. Most recently, Mr. Sindelar served as director of finance and accounting at EMC Corporation. Mr. Sindelar was the vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer of Legato Systems, Inc. from December 2000 until October 2003, at which time it was acquired by EMC Corporation. Prior to joining EMC/Legato, Mr. Sindelar served as senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global assurance and business advisory firm in San Jose, California. Mr. Sindelar also held various positions at C-Cube Microsystems (acquired by LSI Logic) and Arthur Andersen LLP. Mr. Sindelar holds a B.S.B.A in accounting from Georgetown University.

Kumar Sivakumar - Senior Vice President and General Manager

Kumar Sivakumar

As senior vice president and general manager at Ikanos Communications, Kumar Sivakumar is responsible for creating and executing on Ikanos' product vision and strategy, working closely with hardware, software and customer engineering teams.

Prior to joining Ikanos, Sivakumar held a variety of leadership positions during his 14 years at LSI Logic, including general manager positions for the Communications Division, Communications Standard Products Business Unit and the Broadband Access Business Unit. While at LSI Logic he was responsible for business and product strategy, product and architecture definition, and opportunity qualification. Previously, Sivakumar was responsible for strategic marketing and product development at Raytheon's semiconductor division, where he generated business plans, product strategies, architectural and product definitions and he solidified early customer engagement in SONET, ATM and Fiber Channel Communications. Sivakumar started his career at National Semiconductor as a senior engineer in the Interface Design Group, where he defined and designed portions of an integrated circuit fiber-optic receiver and high-speed phase-locked-loop decoder for the ANSI Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI) 122.5 Mb/s standard and designed PHY chips for the Ethernet and SCSI data communications standards.

Sivakumar earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of London, an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from University of California, Berkeley.

Shekhar Khandekar - Vice President, Operations and Corporate Quality

Shekhar Khandekar

Shekhar Khandekar is a 23-year veteran in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in product reliability testing. He brings to Ikanos an astute understanding of operations management and businesses processes in manufacturing and technology industries. Prior to joining Ikanos, Khandekar was vice president of assembly operations at JDSU Corp., where he managed worldwide assembly operations for optical communications products as well as global quality assurance. Before JDSU, he was vice president of quality and reliability assurance for PMC-Sierra Inc., and held several key positions at Intel Corp., Level One Communications, Compaq Computer Corp. and Texas Instruments. Khandekar is a published author and frequent speaker at industry and academic events. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indore in Indore, India, and a Master's of Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

Noah D. Mesel - Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary

Noah Mesel

As vice president and general counsel at Ikanos Communications, Mr. Mesel is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the company. He advises the board of directors and management on strategic matters and commercial transactions, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance issues, with particular attention to public company requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other key SEC rules and regulations. Mesel also works with the engineering organization to manage the company's intellectual property assets. He previously served as general counsel at Legato Systems and Riverstone Networks, and was corporate counsel at Lucent Technologies, supporting their global outsourcing business unit. Mesel began his career as an attorney at the Palo Alto law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.

Nick N. Shamlou - Vice President of Worldwide Sales Customer Engineering

Nick N. Shamlou

Nick N. Shamlou is a semiconductor industry veteran with over 22 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. Most recently he served as vice president of Asia sales at Broadcom Corp. and as representative director for Broadcom Japan KK. In these roles, he oversaw all sales operations, including field applications engineering, and was instrumental in establishing strong business relationships throughout Asia. Prior to joining Broadcom, Mr. Shamlou held several key positions at Motorola Inc., including director of sales for the Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) Japan, director of Asia sales for the SPS-Imaging and Entertainment Division and director of global sales for the SPS-Advanced Digital Consumer Division. Mr. Shamlou earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
